CyCTF24 — All OSINT Challenges (Aerospace — OhMyCell — Old Friend)

Hello, I’m Beshoy Ashraf. This is my first local CTF competition. I don’t want to gain a rank; instead, I want to learn. Cairo ICT CyCTF24 started two days ago. I searched for a team, but I couldn’t find anyone because they were all busy. So, I decided to try alone.

1- First Challenge : Aerospace

All We Need Now To know What the Meaning of all this numbers so I used ChatGPT

So, now I know some Information from this numbers, so I decided to Use Satellite Number as for sure is A ID so I opened “Search Satellite Database (n2yo.com)”

So, I Found This: 3-CAT-1 … Launch Date: 29/11/2018

So, I Opened SatNOGS Network — Observations and write 3CAT and Choose status GOOD

2- Second Challenge : OhMyCell

First I Opened it on Google and Open Maps

So I Decided to search on google and open this website

“The world’s largest Open Database of Cell Towers”

And Found a lot of cells but the most stable is 3G (UMTS/HSPA) So I searched For “U”

and found this

3- Third Challenge: OldFriend

I see It’s Hard but anyway there are a hint sure !

This one seemed tough at first. After studying the image, I noticed two buildings behind the main structure. I cropped the image to focus on these specific details
